Step back in time as you step through the door into our beautiful, dining room where New Orleans’ original sizzling steaks have been served since the doors opened in 1934. We offer prime, dry-aged beef that is cut in-house and cooked to your desire as well as seafood options. Our commitment to quality does not end in the kitchen. Our extensive wine list consists of over 130 bottles from around the world. Our bar offers a wide array of quality liquors and liqueurs. Crescent City Steaks has been owned and operated by the Vojkovich family since Mr. John first opened the doors over 89 years ago, and his spirit lives on through the essence of family that transcends everything we do.                                                                                                 Food was excellent as usual. 1st time we waited longer than usual for a waiter to come to the table. The hostess actually came to check on us and took our appetizer order and drinks before flagging down waitstaff. It didn't ruin the visit. The overall experience is always nice.

                                                                                                We are regulars there & eat there a couple of times a month , last night unfortunately my steak was overcooked. I ordered it medium rare & it was almost well done

                                                                                                The service was excellent. Food was good, though a bit skimpy on the sides that came with our dish, especially considering the price tag, and the sides we had were ‘meh’. This was our first time there, and we were seated at a very awkwardly angled table next to a door on a very cold night. The door was a bit drafty, and every now and again there would be someone outside that would mistaken it for the entrance (though they couldn’t open it) and try to use it. It wasn’t terribly busy and we had reservations, so I wish they hadn’t sat us there. That said however, we would go back and try it again.

                                                                                                What took me so long? It's been over 40 years since we last ate at Cresent City Stake House. The food was good then but outstanding today, our server (Scully) was great and attentive to our needs. We will make this one of our go to restaurants and not let it be 40 years again.

                                                                                                Steak's had no flavor, side portions were tiny. Very cold in dining room, cools the food down quickly! Overall experience not good. Try Charlie's Steak House!
