Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. We did a tasting menu put together by the restaurant after we told them what we like and which dishes we were interested in. Wonderful service, and wow all the food was so good, we tried the tuna, fried squash, speck pizza, Brussels sprouts (those last two were our favourites!), the steak and the 100 layer lasagna was extra delicious!

We had a good experience with our lunch with Ears. The servers were great and food was excellent. Only think we had bit issue was with the seating arrangement, it was bit small and we had to squeeze.
