Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Booked a lunch for 9, (including 6 grandkids) as a pre - lion king treat! We moved it from 12.00 to 11.30 due to the early 1.00pm start. The restaurant is a perfect location for the theatres, I find Earls menu interesting and well presented. Our waitress was attentive and made sure we got timely service! A very nice start to a lovely afternoon…

Outstanding. Food was great, service was great. It was my wife's birthday, just the two of us, and I wanted something special. I booked a booth beforehand and let the staff know it was her birthday. We had to change the time of our reservation beforehand - easy process there. When we arrived the booth was set aside, and a birthday card sat on our table. Staff brought her a nice birthday dessert later on. We have been to Earl's at King West several times now. I really recommend it.

From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. Chelsea was our server and was a delight. Her knowledge of the menu was very helpful. I had the steak and sushi, delicious! My husband's prawns, however, were cold with no hint of garlic or lemon, and Chelsea had them comped. Tuesday half price wines were a pleasant surprise! We will definitely be back!
