Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. Again the Wine House was a wonderful dining experience. The server was super friendly and I think she brought us our drinks in about 2 minutes. All four of us were more than pleased with the quality of our entrees. The Wine House has always been one of our favorite restaurants because of its quality and atmosphere.

Great atttentive service. Good portion size. Swordfish was a thinner piece that I usually see. The waiter had a hard time answering questions about dishes and was wrong. Nice casual place.

Jack was out server and he was amazing! Very attentive and pleasant! We had a show to attend and he got everything out quickly in a manner where we didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable! He was the perfect server!

I found 703 bar + kitchen by chance. I sat at the bar. Great service and conversation with the bartender. Everyone was friendly. Food was good. I'd go back :-)
