August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Harvey’s gnocchi with scallops, sage butter and prosciutto was absolutely delicious, and, dare I say, possibly the best meal that I have enjoyed in Brisbane for some time. Thank you 🙏🏻 🤩

We enjoyed the experience. The highlight was the ambience, view and atmosphere. The service was very attentive. Disappointed with the table position felt as a family we were placed in the corner that was in the beginning of entrance. Felt other patrons got the better experience positioned. Menu could of had a better selection with other options added as meals instead of grazing food.

Had a great meal the other night. My wife has issues with gluten and most artificial colours flavours and enhancers. It was a great relief to find a restaurant that takes this seriously. Will be back.

Overall lunch yesterday was a very pleasant meal, and I'd like to return. I will definitely recommend the Lobby Bar whenever I can.
