Good choice of restaurant for a big group (we were 10 people)

Excellent ambience and very attentive staff who were friendly and extremely welcoming. The cocktails were delicious and a varied array to choose from. The food was very nice, however there was a delay when waiting for our pizza/side plates. They seemed to arrive externally from the Boathouse itself, so when served to us, the food wasn’t particularly warm which was disappointing as the standard of the food was very good. The peanut satay sauce that comes with the chicken satay skewers was exceptionally good. Will definitely be back for more cocktails but will probably avoid ordering food for the reasons mentioned above.

Always enjoy a visit to The Lot, Shenfield. Bar staff, ambience, waitress, food, all very good. Never disappointed.

Lovely venue. Nice food great atmosphere. Generally nice people running it.
