Excellent evening eating at this new restaurant in Ilkley! Great menu of delicious small plates, perfect for sharing. Good service and lovely ambience-my only comment would be more choice of desserts would be great!

The best Sunday lunch we have probably eve4 had! Melt in the mouth perfectly cooked beef, amazing veg and roasties. Deserts were fab also. Drinks were reasonably priced with a good selection. Staff were very polite and friendly. Dog enjoyed himself too! Can’t recommend this small restaurant enough. We were visiting the area but will definitely go again next time

We had a great evening. The experience was great from the secret entrance to the warm welcome we received from the staff. The place smells amazing with musky vanilla candles and the drinks were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Only one slight negative was that the table next to us was offered more tea several times. We tried to catch people’s eye to ask for more but eventually had to get up and ask a waitress for more. Very happy with how my daughter’s dairy allergy was dealt with though, and that she had a choice of menus she could choose from.

Great experience at Refuge, one of the best restaurants in Manchester. It has been a while since I last visited but it did not disappoint, the food was tasty and the service was attentive. Our needs were met and we were not rushed. The setting and atmosphere makes this place. The prices seem higher but it is worth the trip, the menu also seems to have reduced but still a great selection of dishes.
