Originally opened in 2005, Garrett Harker’s flagship restaurant has reopened its doors just up Beacon St. only three blocks from its original location. Eastern Standard continues to offer seasonally focused New England interpretations of classic brasserie fare, including raw bar and charcuterie, nostalgic favorites like steak tartare, baked rigatoni, steak frites, and butterscotch bread pudding, and some new soon-to-be-instant-classic dishes. Absolutely outstanding! We are a family of 6 and very picky! These guys hit it out of the park. Perfect! Delicious food, we ordered almost everything. Fantastic drinks. And Nick, our server was a damn genius. An absolutely perfect meal!

The food was fantastic, particularly the roasted salmon! Our server (and the entire staff, in fact) was very kind. One member of our party was an older woman using a walker, and she moved very slowly. It seemed everyone we walked by had something nice to say to her. And she was delighted. I have always enjoyed PR, I hope to continue dining there for a long long time.
