Bistro popolari a Mountain View

We had the Beef Bourguignon and Lamb Shank and both were excellently prepared, slow cooked, caramelized onions, classic recipes, couldn't be better. Portions were quite generous but so good we gorged ourselves. Next time, better self control.

Every time I have eaten here, the food is terrific! Very consistent. Service perfect. Very attentive and considerate. Definitely go here for birthday celebrations. They treat you like royalty! Love this place. Does not ever disappoint. Heading there again on the 29th for a 92nd birthday. Twice in 1 week! Prices are great too.

Two of us enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch. We began with the the onion soup who was delicious. We shared the seared sea scallops and vegetable risotto also delicious. For dessert I had the apple tartin and my daughter had the chocolate mousse which were excellent.. our server was friendly and professional and I think we just started a new Christmas tradition and will invite friends next year. Charming atmosphere, incredible food, and personal service. This small little gem is authentic. Live guitar added to the ambiance. We had the pork chop and the filet, both extremely tender and cooked to perfection. Can't recommend this place more.
