We ordered the food expecting the portions to be small as they usually are for fine dining. By the time we were done we were so full we couldn’t eat another bite. The food was probably the best French food I’ve had and I’ve eaten at around 10 or so French restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne. We had the scallops, bay bugs, duck, baguettes, fries, salad and the French onion soup. It’s well worth visit. I’ve read the other reviews and based on my experience can’t understand the low star reviews given how attentive the staff were and the quality of the food. The band were absolutely outstanding, everyone was up dancing and it was a friendly, fun and fantastic night. We had pizza which was yummy, the staff were friendly and helpful, loved the pub itself.
