In light of Windsor's rich royal heritage, beautifully designed interiors are brimming with elegant touches. We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

Lovely evening. The lady that looked after us was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. The food was lovely. The whole team were very welcoming. Nice to see so many smiling team members. January can be tough in hospitality. Well done all of you.

Went there with my daughter’s family, so three generations. Everything was perfect, especially the service. So we all enjoyed the lunch and the three generations were totally happy.

You cannot match the Settings or the view of this restaurant it’s incredible, it is located right on the river, and there is a partial view of Windsor castle, it took us, roughly 8 minutes to walk from the Castle to this restaurant. great selection of medium to full body wines, there’s also a good selection of other drinks, if you are not a wine drinker. To start, we have the French onion soup and Fougasse ( garlic bread). Both were delicious,, our family had the beef cheek Bourguignon, Paulette Breton and sirloin steak. The bourguignon had a thicker gravy then I perfer, but overall Our meal was delicious. The View and service were excellent… The ambience is very relaxing and peaceful, this was the perfect place to wind down after a busy day. I would discourage parents taking children who are tried and fussy.

Food was so good and staff were very friendly. It was a bit empty but we went on Christmas Eve lunch so makes sense.
