The Cat Inn is a 16th century free house set in the picturesque village of West Hoathly, a hilltop village set in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Reassuringly good as usual. The smoked salmon starter melted in my mouth. My duck curry was good but I didn’t enjoy it as much as a prawn curry I’ve had there in the past. Always lovely ambience and wonderful service.

A charming 16th-century pub with bags of character. There's nothing quite like sitting in an old English pub with a roaring fire on a cold winter's day. The food was excellent, and the service was wonderfully friendly. I’ll definitely be returning!

First time trying the White Hart and the Sunday roast didn't dissappoint. Portion sizes were ample and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but this wasnt an issue. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Well definitely be back again.
