Wonderful staff. Lovely greeting and tables were well set out. Prawn cocktail to start was lovely Lamb for main was disappointing. Very fatty and little meat on mine. Not that tasty. Just was very watery. Will try something else next. Winter fruit cheese cake was beautiful. V creamy Staff were really lovely and helpful.

Service is very good - friendly helpful staff . We had the festive lunch menu which was excellent! The presentation and quality of food is outstanding as well as all the little extras to try. Great choice on the wine menu too ranging from a glass to a bottle! Would highly recommend!

My friends and I have our Christmas outing here every year. It’s a highlight of the festive season and the year. The food is always special , the drinks devine and the service and location are always amazing. Can’t praise it highly enough. Always feels very special.

The staff are always so friendly and first rate. Good quality ingredients and lovely food. Popular for a reason, so make sure you book if you can!

Food was lovely, big portions. But the service was shocking, slow with an unfulfilled order. When questioned every member claimed “I’m new here”. Reception and bar staff were lovely and very attentive. They were a nice welcome after a long drive.
