Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. The Roast Republic never disappoints. The service is always first class, the food is next level and the menu is broad enough to cater for the fussiest of diners. I’m a semi regular and I always look for reasons to be able to eat there. Five stars every visit.

Booked outside at Next Door. Being outside there is no problem with too much noise. We were seated as we arrived and our overseas guests arrived shortly afterwards. The staff were great and as always we enjoyed the food I ordered. We had shared entrees and we ordered mains.
