At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. The interior of the restaurant is natural brick and the couple have chosen a rich color palette of deep blues and greens for the walls. Outside on the spacious patio, a magnificent redwood tree provides natural shade to the built in seating area and plants are abundant creating a lush, garden setting.     Can’t believe it took us eleven months to try Rose’s! What a great spot! Great vibe, delicious burger and Patatas Bravas. And, with only one server (Rose), the service was perfect. And we heard las nite, that they now have the liquor license that allows them to let people under 21 in to the restaurant. Bad news, because this place is going to get very busy soon…but we will wait our turn to come back very soon!

    Superbly done on every level. From cocktails to Prix Fixe, all flavors are original, balanced, and pair wonderfully with wine. I cannot wait to go back.

    I love Commis Bar. The service is friendly and top notch. The food is excellent and the wine pairings are perfect. It ain’t cheap, though cheaper than the adjoining dining room. But what the hell! Treat yourself once in a while.
