Traditional Chinese restaurant situated in Knightsbridge popular with locals as well as business types and the shopped out from Harrods. The decor is all oriental splendour and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. What's cooking? Traditional Chinese fare. Signature dishes include crispy fragrant duck, steamed seabass and mixed seafood platter. Plenty of vegetarian choices with faux chicken and prawn dishes and a monk's casserole - a mixture of preserved and fresh vegetables cooked in a clay pot. This was our first visit to this up-market Chinese restaurant, and will not be our last. We had an excellent, if brief, meal with dishes which were just about the best we have ever tasted in a Chinese restaurant. we will now rate this very highly, and recommend it to our friends. At last another decent Chinese restaurant in SE London, there are so few. Very good food, clean, fresh, unadulterated with good ingredients. Rapid and effective service. Very good value. Some very good wines available although we did not drink them. Boring and sterile surroundings though, although convenient location wise. Otherwise recommended.
