O-Ku, a Japanese restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina, is a triumph of execution and concept.     We had a fabulous experience! Our server was attentive and bubbly. The manager visited our table and made us feel like VIPs. They even came over and gave us a free app since it was our first time! The ambiance was wonderful. Beautifully decorated. I wonderful date night spot or night with the girls. 10/10 we would recommend!

    Great food, wine, and cocktails at a reasonable price. Our service was a little slow but not too bad. The place is very noisy especially on the weekend when it is very busy.

    We originally had reservations for 7 pm but were able to sit earlier. The service was good, and the food was excellent. I had the fried chicken and my wife had the chicken pot pie. Both were delicious. The noise level was okay and part way through the meal they changed the music to classic rock, which suited us old folks just fine. The prices were fine for downtown Charleston, and it wasn’t too busy. To be fair, it is early January. We’ll definitely be back.
