Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Great experience for Christmas Brunch. Amazing food and ambience. Jason was looking after us and was exceptional!! Polite and respectful from the start. Always helpful with whatever we asked or needed.

From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. Chelsea was our server and was a delight. Her knowledge of the menu was very helpful. I had the steak and sushi, delicious! My husband's prawns, however, were cold with no hint of garlic or lemon, and Chelsea had them comped. Tuesday half price wines were a pleasant surprise! We will definitely be back!

The food is delicious! Went to this restaurant on two occasions, both time big group of us and both times everyone loved their meal. Portions are generous and service is quick. Reasonable prices.

Had a nice long lunch. Ordered soup which was very good, maybe just a tad salty. Salad was fresh and really tasty. Service was excellent
