Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Absolutely stunning place. The ambience was incredible, drinks were creative, and food was outstanding. The staff was also very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable of the menu. It did get a bit noisy at times but overall experience was 11/10. I would go back and eat the exact same meal- it was that good.

Food is always fantastic, was my first time for brunch. Mushroom frittata was great and shakshuka very tasty; they did the vegetarian version for me. Service always attentive and professional.

12/10! LOUIX LOUIS is a true gem! The food was excellent, and the chic ambiance made the whole dining experience feel so special. The drinks are absolutely amazing, but the highlight for me was their signature cocktail, Pink in the City 🙌🏻 it’s absolutely to die for! The King’s Cake Slice is totally worth it. Perfect spot for a night out. Mariam who served us was amazing. Highly recommend!

First, service was super relaxed and friendly, and I got some great recommendations. Second (and more importantly) the food was great! Highly recommend the leeks. Really enjoyed the bar seating - I love watching the cooks and got to ask some questions about preparation.

The staff was great, friendly and accommodating, food was amazing a relatively quick. Happy Hour deals are really good if you want a basic drink.
