They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Our team has worked hard to connect to our community, and we value our customers. These values have been central to Ellen and Linwood’s vision, and we hope are felt by our customers each day.

Was seated right away even tho I was early and part of my party wasn’t there. Great service. Greeted promptly. Everyone was friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed, inviting. This is our second time going for Christmas Eve and will definitely be back to be able to sit outside in the warmer months. Food was delicious and inventive. Loved the hand crafted drinks. All in all a great experience.

Elegant and delicious restaurant with top notch staff and food and wine. Sommelier took a lot of time with us and a perfect evening out! Amazing wine list!1 Congratulations on becoming a 2 key Relais and Chateau hotel!

Everything was great. We were there for happy hour and there were half priced drinks and food. We got Brussels sprouts, quesadillas, truffle fries, and blackberry tequila lemonade crushes for happy hour prices and a chicken sandwich and left with food. It was all amazing.

I needed a lunch spot with a variety of foods and ample parking for friends who were recovering from surgeries. This was a great location. The server was attentive. The crab and lobster dip was okay but the lunches we ordered were excellent. No complaints from anyone in our party. The only suggestion I have is to include the prices for all of the cocktails.
