Came for my friends birthday. All the food was amazing and we had a great time.

Had a great meal at the bar with attentive service. Drinks were great and the ambiance was lovely. It was the perfect end to a long day. Crab salad is fantastic.

My son and I celebrated his birthday at Aloette. Neither of us had been there before and we were very pleased by the quality of the food and the very attentive service. We shared plates - including the Foie Gras Parfait, Salmon tartare, Octopus carpaccio, Grilled lamb skewer and Roasted Cauliflower. Everything was excellent. I especially recommend the foie gras parfait, very fluffy and flavourful on toast, but I also really enjoyed the octopus carpaccio with cherry tomatoes and sliced almonds. The server was very attentive, bringing plates and whisking others away very efficiently. We are definitely planning to go back as we were too full to sample dessert. The only issue I had was actually finding the restaurant - the sign is not easy to see, especially through the chill of the polar vortex. We had the benefit of a booth but customers dining at the bar counter seemed equally pleased with the fine dining.

Good ambience. Service was excellent and food was very good. Was great that the noise level was at the right level that we could have a conversation without struggling.

Dinner for two at the chef’s bar on a Wednesday evening. We come here frequently, and love the shared plates and the attentive service. We always add a request for wine pairing with each course and half glasses make that ideal for us. The duck was spectacular. All the rest was excellent, but the duck…..
