Proper 21K, brought to DC from the New York City restaurateurs Rob Zahn and Will Strozier that own Manhattan Proper, and Proper West, opening in August 2020. Located at 2033 K St NW, Proper 21K is a high end sports bar serving All American classics with a gourmet twist. Proper 21K is the second DC location of NIEUW Group INC. Like its predecessors, located in New York City and DC, Proper 21K serves contemporary American cuisine. The space maintains the modern aesthetic and New York style of the Manhattan locations, which have best been described as Tom Ford meets Thomas Edison. The restaurant provides the best audio & visual for sports, corporate functions, nightlife and other events.

We will not be offering our normal dinner menu on that day.Since our early days as a tea room, we’ve been a respite for locals and visitors alike, offering a haven for conversation and memorable cuisine. The tradition continues as our culinary team has curated an inventive and elevated menu through New American cuisine while paying homage to the beloved dishes that have been served at the Tabard Inn for years. A DC institution since 1922, we look forward to offering our guests all the comforts of a home away from home.     The vegan brunch here is awesome!! I've been before but this time had a chance to try their new menu. 10 out of 10 would certainly recommend! The staff was great, very attentive and provided a detailed description of the food when it came to the table.

    Chef Geoff is always a great dining establishment when we are staying in DC at the Hilton Embassy Suites. The food is excellent, plentiful, and varied with several specials every day. The atmosphere is very laid back and you are always made to feel like a family member However the best is the great staff who go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect during you stay Amount the best of the best is Arturo who is probably the best server we have ever had any where we have ever dined out at, A great friendly hard working staff member who made our special night the best. Thanks for your all you do Arturo!

    The perfect place on a snowy night in DC. The staff. Was very attentive and the food was phenomenal! I highly recommend you place this on your must go list.

    I am NEVER disappointed when I dine in Proper 21. The food is always prepared well and tasty. The Prop wings are my favorite.
