Went on a Saturday night for a birthday. We were running a little late for our reservation and tried to call multiple times but there was no answer to the call. When we arrived there was a little bit of a wait (most likely due to us being late) but they were still able to seat us fairly quickly. The energy was also very good from when you initially walked in! The live DJ was playing good music that wasn’t too loud. And staff at the front were kind and smiling. Things we ordered did have a little bit of a wait but that’s to be expected when a place is that busy and nothing ever took an egregious amount of time. There were also no issues with any of the food so the wait was worth it. A special shoutout to our server Mary! She was so so sweet and was checking in and laughing with us all evening. Would recommend her 100%.

The food was delicious. Highly recommend the fried chicken; a generous portion, juicy, crispy and complimented by the zippy hot sauce on the side. The truffle burger was charred on the outside and med-rare on the inside; my husband said the charred outside taste was too strong and took away from the truffle taste. Enjoyed the sides we ordered; from the crispy butternut squash (slightly crispy on the outside, soft and melty on the inside), to the (salty) triple cooked fries. Our server was attentive and made some good suggestions. Overall, really enjoyed our dinner out.

Amazing experience, lovely vibe and atmosphere, phenomenal live music

We've been lucky enough to visit Louis x Louis a number of times in the past, either for dinner or to enjoy one of their spectacular cocktails. Each time has been wonderful, however, our most recent trip was made extra special - thanks to our extraordinary server Salim. His attentiveness bordered on clairvoyance, without being overly interruptive or aggressive. He walked us through the menu and made the best suggestions for both food and paired wines. Our meals were spectacular and the drinks were perfect. An absolutely splendid dining experience.

Fantastic dinner from start to finish. The lasagna and pickerel were particular highlights. The service was exceptional. Our server was thoughtful, attentive, charming and had very practical feedback whenever we had menu questions. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and decided to forgo dessert (being fully satisfied and full.) Not one to miss an opportunity, our wonderful server surprised us with a birthday candle in a ramekin, along with a couple glasses of Montenegro to underline the occasion. So thoughtful! All in all, wonderful experience and would recommend to even my pickiest friends.
