As always Holm is superb, the staff are fantastic, the ambience is laid back and the food is out of this world. Whilst the Chefs tasting menu is seventy five pounds, it is still great value for money and worth every penny. Each course was perfectly judged and came together to make a sublime meal. My wife and I consider ourselves very fortunate to have Holm on our doorstep.

We had the afternoon tea for 2 which was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was lovely and we had a lovely afternoon.

3 of us visited mid week for lunch, having read such good reviews, and we weren't disappointed. A great low key vibe without any pretension, small and with excellent staff. The four course tasting menu was absolutely delicious, very different flavours and styles. A highlight was perfectly cooked cod loin with a cauliflower puree and dill oil. The only thing we didn't like do much were the drink flights (we had both alcohol and virgin). Some of the flavours were too challengng for us. When we go back (which we will) we'll probably just get a bottle of wine to enjoy.

We were a family group of six. It was a nice Xmas feeling with the people around us. The food was just ok, some of the group enjoyed all the courses but majority thought it was very average for the money we paid. Service was very good, servers were cheerful and obliging. We did enjoy ourselves and there was plenty to eat. Was it value for money ? Not sure but you have to pay a lot extra when people work on Xmas day.
