Introducing Cornus, a rooftop space in Belgravia, the second restaurant from David O’Connor and Joe Mercer-Nairne of the acclaimed Chelsea restaurant, Medlar. Chef Gary Foulkes will lead the kitchen, joining from the Michelin-starred Angler to offer a regularly changing menu. Foulkes will lead the kitchen, combining his ingredient-led approach with flavours and techniques encountered on his travels around the world. Foulkes will create an à la carte menu of creative, elevated dishes, grounded in the traditional principles and techniques of French cuisine. The menu will showcase the best of the British and European larder. David will lead the Front of House team alongside Wine Director Melania Battiston.

Margaux is a modern European restaurant/wine bar. The French/Italian inspired menu includes seared foie gras, house made pork terrine, porcini risotto for appetisers and seared scallops, grilled veal rib and Barolo braised beef as some of the main courses. 100 bin wine list covers a broad range of producers and grapes, with an emphasis on old world wines. If you don"t want to stretch to a bottle there are over 25 wines by the glass and carafe. The dessert menu includes a dark chocolate plate featuring cocoa in 7 textures, passion fruit crème brûlée and amaretto sponge cake and a selection of house made ice creams. The weekend brunch menu features classic such as eggs benedict and eggs royal, smoked salmon, french toast with cinnamon ice cream.

The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. We also have vegetarian and vegan options as well as delicious puddings including tiramisu, poached pears and profiteroles.We have been the site of a Public house for centuries and still offer a selection of draught beers however we have an extensive wine list focusing mostly on classic wines from Europe.The Restaurant is divided into several areas: luxurious deep leather banquette seating, bar counters perfect for lunches and more casual dining and cosy fireside dining in our upstairs room. We went to the Fox and Grapes unplanned, booking at the last minute. It was excellent. Two courses, great wine selection, excellent service (from Louie especially). Despite living locally I don’t think we’ve been since 2022 - we won’t take as long going back.

Servers/wait staff were absolutely lovely- food (a Christmas Eve dinner for us) was perfect- delicious. Adorable Richmond/old London ambience.

My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Margaux. The menu was diverse enough to cater to light eaters as well as those who wanted heartier fare. The drinks menu also called for Mon alcoholic selections, a good selection of wine and cider, so everyone was accommodated. The service was spot on, there when you needed them but not overly attentive to the point of interrupting conversation. The ambience was buzzy but quiet enough to speak and be heard. We will return!
