Tuck away in a corner on the quiet Hutchinson Street in Surry Hills, Le Salle Dining has softly opened. This intimate restaurant is reservation only, and serves contemporary cooking inspired by those cuisines of the old wine countries.-We offer a 4 courses menu du jour + assortment of cheeses at $108 or a 5 courses menu du jour @ $118 p.p that changes frequently) and 1 drink min. spend on Beverages p.p. However, there are several dishes for supplements to add on. We are reopening 25 February 2025 with our new students. The Apprentice Restaurant Sydney is a TAFE NSW licensed training restaurant. Lunch 12pm to 2pm: three courses (entrée, main & dessert) for $44 or you can select any two courses for $39. Dinner 6pm to 8:30pm: three course menu for $44. (Our prices are excluding beverages). Group beverage packages are available to pre-purchase for the whole group.Our meals are usually served Table d’hôte (alternate drop) and portions are limited.Bookings are highly recommended to avoid disappointment. For group bookings of 11 people or more please contact us by phone 02 7920 0909 (9am to 4pm) or email si.theapprentice@tafensw.edu.au. Payment in advance is required for group bookings.     Amazing wine collection, especially for Spanish wines. Sommelier assists to choose a wine that suits everyone. Delicious food and great for sharing.

    Staff were fantastic, they were attentive and informative. Venue is niche and great for catch ups, date night etc. Bit pricey but you’re in the CBD so that’s to be expected. What to expect: friendly knowledgeable staff, tasty food, good vibes, great music and a second to none location. What not to expect: great value for money, beers or a bad time. 8/10

    We had another fantastic evening at The Apprentice. Just wonderful! There was a slight timing delay between entree and main, but the kitchen recovered quickly, and the teamwork was a credit to the students. Well done!
