Estrella Negra offers Mexican cuisine with updated flair. Its walls and tables are decorated with local artist artwork for a complimentary visual appeal. Featured on television shows such as Check Please! WGN 9 News and Chicago's Best, Estrella Negra is located on West Fullerton Avenue in the Bucktown/ Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago.     Our 2nd visit since they opened and both times have been great. Everything, including drinks, was excellent. High quality, great flavors. Came for dinner both times and looking forward to trying brunch.

    Appetizers- Shrimp and the crab stuffed peppers were amazingly good! Also, branzino and short ribs were delicious as well. We didnt like the special drink, but besides that the food was great. Service was on point as well. The only thing we dont like about Libertad is you come away smelling like the you were in the kitchen, because in a way you are. Restaurant needs to find a way to keep the smoke from the kitchen out of the restaurant. Dinner was also very pricey. But we will definitely go back

    Everything was very good except one of us ordered the chicken chimichanga and there was very little chicken in it.
