Dining Bar popolari a Putney

It's a long walk but the views are spectacular! Book before you go, check whether there are any theatre performances on at the time of your booking. It's very self-service, there are menus on the tables, you book and pay at the bar and they deliver to your table. There's a water station for refills. Overall, the food is good but you really go for the location.

Cool place. Great happy hour from 4-6. Nice and peaceful until about 5/530 and then gets quite busy and a bit noisy. Bit really noisy though. Great service, food and happy hour choices.

We experienced the Chef’s menu paired with an all evening happy hour. Every bite of food we had was delicious and the braised lamb was one of the best I’ve ever had, falling apart at the bone. Even though the dishes are served “to share”, the portions were surprisingly big and incredibly filling. Service was outstanding the whole evening. What a wonderful little gem of a place, I look forward to returning soon!
