Set in a Grade II listed building, the Bistro offers an elegant dining experience in the heart of Cambridge city. Inside, there is comfortable banquette seating, dark wood and exposed brickwork, with original paintings by Cambridge artist Nicholas Juett. I prefer a small number of choices on the menu of well cooked food and this is their new menu, so well done for that. I had the burger and it was well cooked and beautifully presented. For me was slightly too salty but otherwise i and my fellow guests really enjoyed their meals.

Always good, always good value. The only problem is trying to understand the complexities of the lunchtime menus and the various pricing options.

The choice of starters wasn’t the best but the mains and pudding were very nice! The value for money was good and the cocktails were nice.
