Just wow. What a venue and what a meal. My wife and I went for a Sunday roast and firstly were blown away by the ambience of the venue. After entering, the staff member who greeted us noted that we would require a change in seating due to mobility and swiftly made the change without any fuss or making us feel like a problem. From the minute we were shown to our table, the staff were friendly but so professional and were there when needed, but never hovering. The food was on another level but not at all over priced. The whole feeling of the meal was more than we had expected and we can't wait to come back again. What a special meal, place, and staff.

Pub grub with a bit of style. Really nice food, great selection of beers, all at a fair price. The menu is not over complicated but has something for every taste. Fabulous food - the fish pie is really gorgeous and is very popular. The staff are all fantastic - welcoming, warm and very helpful. Atmosphere of the building is cosy and the beams are fantastic although ducking may be required in places! A walk down the pontoon to look at the river and watch the wildlife is a must, even in chilly weather. Car park spaces are limited but everyone seems to manage fine!
