A grand old dame of a pub in the centre of Herne Hill and opposite Brockwell Park. In the front, we are large, light and airy around our central island bar. Out the back, we have our large decked garden, with some shade. To eat, we serve traditional pub food with a modern approach. We go for product quality over marketing for our draught and bottled beer collection and have a range of rotating ales. The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

Love the place, and it’s only our 2nd visit! Staff are super friendly and the food has been fabulous on both occasions. The menu is quite small - but that just means they do everything perfectly and you don’t have to wait and age for it! Definitely will be back soon (probably for their Amazing Sunday Lunch)

Typical pub grub, really good but could do with a slightly larger range! Desserts could do with fresh fruit option. I really enjoy the pub and the staff are always so happy and helpful!

Welcomed as we went in, shown to table ….which was besid3va very hot radiator. Asked server if we could move, which was fine. Served quickly and efficient. Meal served after 10/15 mins…hot plates, hot food and very tasty. A very nice Sunday roast in a nice friendly pub..
