The welcome was genuine as we were shown to our table. Our drinks order was quick and the food was was . . . Simply delicious - I can recommend the Sunday roast without hesitation. The Duck team work incredibly hard to create a really great atmosphere, together with an open fire, what more can you ask for. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Great food and a friendly welcome - plus a superb bottle of wine. We were unlucky to arrive at the same time as a table of 12 so the service was understandably a little slow but otherwise, everything was great. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Good rural location for a country pub near the North Downs Way (single track road in and out). Interior has a stunning design and very cosy feel. Food is exceptional, costs a little more than average but well worth it. Cannot wait to return as its only 40 minutes away

My second visit to the Fordwich. My Wife and I are veggie/vegan and I can honestly say that the food was equally the best we have ever experienced anywhere in the World, yes, the World. I’m not one for leaving long reviews as I was there to enjoy myself and not act as a restaurant critic! However I felt compelled to say that you must visit The Fordwich if you enjoy fantastic food/wine/ambience/service.
