The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. First time at The Lore of the Land. Blown away by the quality of food, wine and service. We had a group of 7 friends dining for lunch, had an enjoyable pre lunch drink in the bar, and then an amazing 3.5 hours of incredible lunch experience. Particular call out for our waitress, Cher, who served us for the entire 3.5 hours. Great knowledge of the dishes, good sense of humour, and really made the experience top drawer for us. Definitely going again soon.

A wonderful evening, after arriving early our table was ready so we sat down and had some drinks whilst we waited for our other guest to arrive. Food was good, service was good and a lovely ambiance in the place, on a night where London was so busy.
