The Seven Stars is a 16th century country inn situated in the heart of Surrey, close to both Dorking and Reigate, with Gatwick airport seven miles away. It has wealth of character which includes a large inglenook fireplace, beamed ceilings, recently renovated gardens and patios along with ample parking.An extension that now forms the main dining area was completed in 1996 and won the British Heritage Development Award for that year.The Seven Stars has a great atmosphere, we have strived to keep it a village pub where friends and locals meet up to wine, dine and and enjoy freshly cooked food, sourced from the local area. We also pride ourselves on our Gluten Free and Vegan options

Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order. Lovely restaurant with excellent service and good food. I’ve taken one star off ambience, because it would have been lovely to have an open fire with on such a cold day.

Absolutely outstanding Steak and ale pie was about as perfect as you can get..the steaks were flavoursome and perfectly cooked The apple toffee pud beautiful Could not recommend this pub/restaurant more Thanks to the good people of the fox and pheasant for a top notch lunch!!

A great local pub serving wonderful food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Regularly changing menu offering freshly cooked, innovative and delicious food. Equally good for a quick drink or a longer visit. Love it!
