Black Salt has a varied menu and is always our first choice for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed the Branzino, Crab Cakes, Hummus, Bruschetta and dessert. Rave reviews and highly recommend!

Nestled in the heart of Washington DC, The Pembroke is a delightful culinary gem that offers a perfect blend of ambiance, service, and exquisite dishes. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed! Starting with the Bagel Salmon, I was blown away by the freshness of the ingredients. The bagel was perfectly toasted, providing a delightful crunch that complemented the silky, rich cream cheese and the succulent slices of smoked salmon. The addition of capers and red onions added a burst of flavor that elevated the dish to new heights. It was a beautifully balanced plate that left me craving more. The Eggs Benedict was equally remarkable. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, with the yolks oozing out beautifully when cut. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and rich, striking the right balance of tanginess that paired wonderfully with the savory ham. Served atop a toasted English muffin, this dish was a comforting yet elegant choice that made for a satisfying brunch experience. Beyond the food, the restaurant design is a feast for the eyes. Great choice for Christmas dinner. Food and ambiance perfect for the day. Creative menu. Dessert was very imaginative and appropriate for the day.

Korean fried chicken and perogie appetizers were delicious. Everyone tried something different for entrees and we all enjoyed our meals and exclaimed how good everyone else’s dishes looked. The crème brûlée apple cheesecake was great and the red wine I had was a heavy pour. Not crowded on a Thursday night and our server was really nice. One of the nicest, chillest meals I’ve had in a while. Bravo!
