Delhi Dhaba was established in July of 1991 by a local Arlingtonian family that emigrated from New Delhi to the United States in the 70’s. Their vision was to bring the colors, flavors, and riches of a traditional Indian Dhaba to the locals in the metropolitan area. Traditionally, a Dhaba is a roadside restaurant or cafe found on highways and on the outskirts of cities, towns, and villages. Dhabas were initially started by enterprising Punjabi’s to cater to the needs of truckers, for wholesome, clean, and hot authentic Punjabi food at any hour of the day or night. Over the years Delhi Dhaba has become one the most well known and respected Indian restaurants in Arlington. The family continues to push the envelope of new ideas everyday while staying true to their culture and values.

The tandoor-baked breads are not mere swabs for sauce but could be eaten, and enjoyed, on their own; the naan with cilantro and rock salt is terrific, as is the kulcha richly stuffed with minced lamb. Masala Art offers combinations you don't see often around here, but even its more familiar dishes can be revelations. Consider its samosas. They're flakier than a lot of the competition, and their filling of peas, potatoes and sweet raisins tastes fresher, too. A burst of cardamom in every bite helps. In the same vein, soft logs of minced lamb pulse with heat from jalapeno peppers, a shock offset with breezy mint.     If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience that perfectly blends incredible flavors and a cozy ambiance, look no further than The G.O.A.T Room. The food was nothing short of spectacular. We started with the masala fries, and they were an explosion of flavor, crispy on the outside and coated with just the right amount of spice. I could've drank the tikka dipping sauce through a straw! We also had veggie samosas, tandoori wings, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. I want to highlight them all but I'll leave it at everything was exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone who loves bold flavors, excellent service, and a cozy yet chic dining spot!

    It is pure fine dining. The food is delicious from start to finish and the money you spend is worth it. The drinks presentation wise are elaborate, but maybe not needed.

    I love this place! It's always a good experience with great service and even better food. Everything on the menu is top notch, but my go to is the Bombay thali, a delicious variety of vegetarian selections.

    Abigail was so sweet and loving . She welcome us with a warm welcome. The service was on time and perfect. The atmosphere was peace and romantic. Still our #1 favorite Indian Restaurant in DC.

    I had the Grilled Chicken which was seasoned very well. The Collard Greens were awesome and I will back to try the Fried Red Snapper next time. Cool place for drinks or dinner.
