Food quality is excellent and very high quality service.

I took my elderly mother for High Chai on Mother’s Day. The selection of savoury and sweet options were delicious and adequate portion sizes. It was busy, however the staff were attentive and respectful.

I had the pleasure of dining at Blac Restaurant and Lounge in Finchley for the first time, and it definitely exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive especially Ishi, making sure our experience was top-notch from start to finish. As for the food – absolutely delicious! The menu has a great variety of options, and every dish we tried was bursting with flavour. You can tell that they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of thought into each recipe. My personal favorite was the Lamb dinner, which was cooked to perfection. Overall, this place is a hidden gem, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

Authentic Indian food. The puri's were divine. The samosa's were served with a chickpea sauce - not something I would choose but turned out they were delicious. Shared the meat platter which was all cooked to perfection and spiced beautifully. Wine by the bottle was reasonably priced and, if i recall, all under £30. I didn't have a child with me but was delighted to see that the kids menu was all authentic Indian food also - no fish fingers/burgers or nuggets here Service was relaxed but professional, if a little hectic - but they did have a birthday party to tend to which seemed to be around 50ppl of all ages, which they managed very well and didn't impede the other diners. Overall, a great restaurant which i will definitely be going back to.

Food was excellent as always, and great service. It is pricey but also servings are huge - I’d happily reduce both by 25% and still walk away full instead of wasting anything.
