Fabulous experience thanks to MTLàTable! We had a beautiful window table and great service, delicious 4 course meal, lovely music and delicious cocktails. Even the glass of Sauvignon Blanc was a great treat, will definitely be recommending and returning when in Montreal. Merci beaucoup et à la prochaine!

After 11 years of going at least 3 times a year at l’Ile Flottante (or its previous iteration Les Deux Singes de Montarvie), this is still by far our favourite Montreal restaurant. Amazing food and service, at a really reasonable price point for the quality.

Stop here before the Canadiens game on a Tuesday evening. Requested a seat at the bar and was warmly greeted by the bartender. Ordered the beef tartare with fries. The tartare was delicious, seasoned perfectly and nicely presented. The fries were a bit disappointing. They were small pieces that lacked crispness. However, the dipping sauce that accompanied them made them enjoyable. I enjoyed a glass of Tempranillo with this and was also able to take a serving of this wine to the game. Being that it was before the hockey game, the atmosphere was like a sports bar and quite noisy.

Really fun experience! It was very cold towards the show but once people were up and dancing/enjoying the music, it was fine. Food was really decent considering the set menu, thank you Le Balcon!
