Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation. This place was really good. It’s 100% celiac safe and has the best gluten free focaccia I’ve had. It’s quite small and the service feels very personal. I would definitely recommend!

All the staff is wonderful. Francisco has been our waiter many times. He is wonderful & very attentive. The owner Clyde, does not cut corners. Most of hid food is made by scratch & is premium as well as his accommodations. I would highly recommend this Restaurant. If there was 10 stars to give, I would give 20 stars.

The taste was above expectation. More dense pasta should be asked to be cooked longer if one doesn’t like el dente.
