Active and bustling, in the "Trattoria Style", this Woodbury location of Butera's offers quality food at a great value. Known for their generous portions of pasta entrees, grilled fare, and fresh fish, Butera's has established a fine reputation as a neighborhood place where guests often see people they know. It is owned and operated by Martin Butera, his wife Laurie, Martin's brother Gary Butera, and partner and chef Nick Zografos. The large open room is tastefully decorated with a traditional and contemporary mix, with rich dark woodwork and stone treatments, granite table tops, a wood and granite bar, fieldstone and hardwood floors, stone fireplace, exposed wine racks and a Tiffany style fixture at the entrance. We’ve been here a couple of times, and each time we dine here we love it. Our server was wonderful and our dishes were excellent. Starters were the bread and calamari, bread was hot and delicious. Calamari was lightly battered and tender. Cacio Peppe perfect, Bronzino flavorful, Pappardelle great and chicken piccata plentiful. Desserts were gelato and flourless chocolate cake. Restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays as well. We’ll be back!

We go every year for our anniversary since we got married at Fox Hollow 7 years ago. Food is always amazing! Service was great, we’ll be back again.

The lunch menu is outstanding! There were so many items that I would have loved to order. I had the shrimp with arborio rice, chick peas, and greens…. Scrumptious!!! Looking forward to returning and trying other dishes!
