Vancouver Now Has Its Very-Own Georgian Restaurant!Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country’s famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheery Evergreen Boulevard cafe. Dediko’s menu is stacked with the classics of that region, with a number of different khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes called phkali, and various grilled meats called mtsvadi. Also coming from the grill, Dediko’s kababi consists of a kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, folded in a roll of lavash flatbread. Truly delicious food that arrived quickly — as always. Seriously. Quick and attentive service, and excellent advice from our knowledgeable server about how to order enough plates to be adequate for our party of four. Serrato has been a go-to for awhile due to consistently interesting and tasty preparations, attentive but not intrusive service, and an open, welcoming space with sufficient noise control that it's possible to have a conversation across the table without shouting or lip reading. We took our mostly pescetarian out-of-town friends last night and they thoroughly enjoyed it as well.

Excellent food. Staff were welcoming and warm. Waitress was very helpful in marking the menu to show what foods were gluten free. Cider was super tasty. Lamb chops were delectable, highly recommend. 10/10 would visit again.
