The House of William and Merry serves contemporary American cuisine prepared from the freshest seasonal ingredients procured from local farms, providing casual fine dining at a reasonable price. Chef-owned by the husband and wife team, Merry Catanuto and William Hoffman, who live on the property, the restaurant is a remodeled farmhouse on the edge of central Hockessin. Dine in a comfortable home atmosphere in one of the two dining rooms, the porch, or the bar. When you arrive, you can see right into the all new, modern kitchen. Full bar service is available including wines by the glass, microbrews on tap, and specialty drinks. The blood orange margarita was delicious. We also had barria tacos made with slow cooked lamb. Shrimp tacos, chicken enchiladas and a carne asada burrito. All the food was fresh, well seasoned and delicious. We started with quac and chips, I definitely recommend them. The vibe was fun and the service was spot on. Try it for a quick lunch or a yummy Mexican dinner.

Other than being a little pricy, hence why I visit only once in awhile, it was great. Our waitress was awesome, food was good, place was clean and inviting.

Our waiter Devin was absolutely amazing!! We were a family of 13 guests and he took outstanding care of us. Everyone was happy. Food was delicious. Drinks were tasty. I recommend the margarita flight for $20. Everything came out correct, hot & fresh. We will definitely be back. Thank you Devin!!!
