The Bower Manly is a locally owned and operated business, with a passionate Northern Beaches based crew. We had always wanted to open a restaurant, but never imagined we’d find one in such a perfect location. Our key focus is providing good quality food using the freshest produce, and friendly staff to compliment the stunning yet relaxed setting of Cabbage Tree Bay. The menu changes on a regular basis, to reflect seasonal produce using both local and organic growers wherever possible - serving up coastal cool alfresco vibes. The Bower is a local's favourite, serving up some of the best coffee in Manly with arguably the best view of Shelly Beach. Join us for brekky, brunch, lunch or cocktails, seven days a week, or grab takeaway on your way down to the beach. We have several tables outside making it the perfect spot to take in the fresh ocean air and watch the world go by.

The signature cast iron grill and the Josper grill, which was imported from Spain where Josper has mastered the art of cooking with coal and wood. We exclusively use Ebony Black Angus across our menu which is produced from carefully selected prime quality Black Angus cattle. Really great food and excellent service — nothing is too much trouble. Everyone there was full of fun and enjoying a great evening. Nice lovely place. Also they keep the background music low so you can talk and everyone did. A very animated ambience.

I was so impressed. We booked a table for my husbands birthday for the extended family. The manager came out and made sure we were happy and was just so wonderful with the kids, came and brought them extra tokens for the games and even some temporary tattoos. When we said it was my husbands birthday she came with his dessert topped with a lit candle and stayed to sing happy birthday then offered to take a photo of us all together. What a service!!!
