Chapter One is an award-winning Modern European restaurant with 3 AA Rosettes in Orpington, Kent. Following a major refurbishment in early 2019, Chapter One has relaunched with a more modern approach, tempting guests with greater variety and quality.Under the direction of acclaimed chef Andrew McLeish, modern European cooking is available in two formats. This was the best meal I have eaten for years. The taste of the food was wonderful and faultless and the presentation sheer perfection. By far the best restaurant in the North Surrey/South West London area, probably one of the best restaurants in the entire country. Given the quality of the food it is inexpensive. Go there.

Lovely meal but our oysters had too much chilli. Very expensive but worth it for a special occasion. The desserts are very disappointing.
