Pizza is a family affair for me. My Uncle arrived in America in the 1930s with a passion for pizza. He worked hard and eventually bought his own pizzeria in Brooklyn. It was there that Uncle invented a recipe for coal oven pizza. That recipe has been perfected over 60 years and passed down through the generations.Here in Philadelphia you can dine at 2 Pietro's locations: 1714 Walnut Street, and Radnor, Pa.     What a lovely evening we had after a long day at the parade. The food and wine was delicious (meatballs, ranchovy salad, margarita pizza). Service was great friendly and efficient . In spite of it being Valentines Day and full to capacity we were never rushed. Dan the manager very efficiently took charge of food expedition and service which on this very busy eve was certainly a challenge. We love this cozy spot and will certainly continue to return, one of our favorites in center city. Ona Joyce

    Delicious food and amazing service. They really had some cute Valentine’s Day specials. We had the Wagyu steak for two with a chopped brussels sprout salad and mashed cauliflower.

    Food and service was great- no problem recommending this restaurant to my family and friends Halfway through our meal we noticed that the music was somewhat loud and asked for it to be lowered and was turned off or very low

    It has been a while since we had eaten there. The lunch special with a $5 individual deep dish pizza could not be beat. Delicious. We will be back.
