The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week. We had the best Christmas Eve dinner! The Dover Sole was the best I’ve ever had. Calamari and crab cakes are also delicious. Who can resist the baked Alaska for dessert? Our server was wonderful!

Wonderful Christmas Eve experience at the Ruxton. We opted for a late lunch and were totally satisfied with the service, ambiance and (of course) the food. My filet was prepared exactly as requested and it was extremely tender and delicious. My wife’s salmon dish was equally satisfying. If you haven’t been to the Ruxton yet, you have to try it. You won’t be disappointed!

Ambience is nice, bustling, the drink menu is extensive, the food is good but high priced, service is fine but not super attentive. A good place to visit occasionally.

We had a really nice time. The ambiance is great. The servers were so very attentive. I’m pretty sure I ordered the Rockfish and got the Halibut, so that makes it hard to give them 5 stars. Also, the fish was a little tougher than I expected. But all the food generally tasted great and seemed well prepared. The apps were amazing.
