Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber… John Dory, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores and although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name it also has a very British name, John Dory. Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ – Like a few other Latin occupational names (e.g. Agricola for farmer, Nauta for sailor). Smith being the most common name in English we decided it sits well with our name as we want to be accessible to all and give everyday people the opportunity to be part of our journey and own the business they work in.What sets us apart is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. Food and service was absolutely amazing! We loved every bite. Guy who served us from starter to main meal was very friendly and polite. We were always asked if we were okay and if the food was good. My husband don’t really eat steak but that day when we dined in Big Easy, was his birthday and he loved the steak especially. Thank you guys for making our visit special ❤️

My son really enjoyed his grilled lobster! Cute little place, great fish and couteous staff - definitely a gem and very lucky to have them in the neighborhood! So much better than large chains.

The restaurant was extremely quiet due to the time of year and day of the week, but the customer service and food quality did not waver. The food was outstanding and the service we were given was above and beyond.
