Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores; although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name, it also has a very British name - John Dory. Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ and as Smith is the most common name in English, we decided it sits well with our ethos - we want to be accessible to all.Setting us apart from the rest is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. The restaurant is lovely and we had an amazing table at the back, away from other diners. It was my husband's birthday and he enjoyed his meal and drink. My pulled pork was a bit too spicy for me so I did not enjoy it as much. Eva was friendly and very attentive and made our experience very pleasant.

Great seafood restaurant that really knows how to prepare shellfish. Service was excellent and only slightly marred by a side disk being forgotten but when pointed out was rapidly rectified and removed from the bill. Thanks for a great meal.

AMAZING restaurant! The food was so tasty, the atmosphere is perfect (you feel like you’ve been transported to Greece) and the overall experience was so authentic! Greek food with a fine dining twist - perfect for a special occasion or just a lovely evening out! Will definitely be back. Thank you to all the amazing staff!
