Casual, coastal restaurant in the North Loop. Reservations taken for dining room only, patio seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. Please check in with hosts upon arrival for patio seating.Although named for the boats used to catch lobster, Smack Shack was launched as a food truck in 2010 serving lobster rolls from a land-locked downtown Minneapolis parking lot. This place is a gem! It was our little girls birthday and they made her feel so special! We celebrate a lot of our special occasions at Smack Shack and will continue to return again and again. Food and service is always 5 stars!

I enjoyed the lemon Mahi item on the menu. It was very good and I enjoyed the slight lemon flavor. Service was excellent, as well.
