It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Rachel took wonderful care of us. The food was delicious and served very promptly. There was a mix up with our Open Table reservation but manager Robert promptly texted me the morning of to accommodate us at an earlier seating because of the holiday. Rachel was very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. From the cocktails, to the appetizer, to the entrees and desserts we took to go, an outstanding meal. It was the perfect Christmas Eve dinner for our little family. A well-deserved reputation as an excellent establishment.

Our group of 7 very much enjoyed having our holiday gathering at Milk and Honey in College Park. The food was delicious and our server went above and beyond to make it comfortable and easy for us. We will be back!
